A library of books.
{(In loose sense only) A library of books.}
One book, one well-known classic tome, and three pairs of eyes; armed each with a copy, the three of us are reading Tolstoy’s War and Peace. We are all roughly thirty pages in.
Friends, here is to the journey. Better still, join us. It's not too late.
(The painting featured at collage heart is Three Princesses of the Underground Kingdom (1884) by Viktor Vasnetsov.)

I'm so excited about this!
ReplyDeleteYes, me too. I have longed to read this mighty book since Anna Karenina.
ReplyDeleteHappy reading!
How intriguing.
ReplyDeleteI read War & Peace last year and I really loved it. I'm looking forward to seeing what imagery it inspires.
ReplyDeleteThe three of us are only at the beginning of each of our copies of War and Peace and thus far loving the journey, much as you'd expect. My Mum and I are reading a translation by Anthony Briggs, Louise an earlier translation by Rosemary Edmonds.
ReplyDeleteWe'll keep you posted.
